Bondhusvatnet
From the house, it’s a 30 minute walk to the beautiful Bondhusvatnet. It’s an easy walk, which most people can do. For those who want a more challenging hike, one can keep going Fonnabu, a hike that takes about 10 hours in total.
Trolltunga
Only a 35 minute drive from us, the hike to Trolltunga starts, one of Norway’s most spectacular nature creations. The hike takes between 8 and 12 hours, and will take you 1180 meters above the ocean. You can also take a bus from Mauranger to Tyssedal and the trail to Trolltunga.
Juklavatnet
Over 1000 meters above the ocean, you find Juklavatnet. From Mauranger Guest House, the hike up takes about 3 hours in total. The hike is easy and most people can do it. With a view over the ocean, fjords and a glacier, it’s an amazing trip suitable for the entire family.
